General Information
JHWalter Energy provides independent advice for commercial and domestic property where the objective is to reduce energy consumption. Such advice might be for existing buildings or for new build.
We have advised a variety of small and large scale property owners across the East Midlands on opportunities to improve energy usage by means of reducing heat loss and more efficient use of energy – ideally from renewable sources.
Our approach is straightforward and independent. Each project is different and determines the scope of works carried out. For existing property the work will generally include a thermal (using infrared imaging) and survey of the propert yand the way it is used.
For new commercial new build, our BREEAM assessor will provide a design stage assessment of a building to determine its BREEAM rating and recommend ways in which this rating can be improved. Assessments can also be carried out on recent built or extended commercial buildings in order to obtain a BREEAM rating.
For domestic property we will advise on energy design to both achieve owner’s objectives and where necessary to meet the required level for the Code for Sustainable Homes.
