Through creative thinking and experience the JHW Energy team is able to provide advice and add value in situations where obtaining planning may not be straightforward and where a sustainable approach incorporating environmental and social benefits will provide a win-win outcome.
Other than domestic PV and very small wind turbines, planning is a vital part of any renewable energy project. Here at JHWalter we have dealt with planning for Wind turbines, PVs and Anaerobic Digestion. We are able to combine the skills of our planning team with the experience and knowledge of our energy team. To date this combination has proven to be an extremely successful combination.
We are have obtained planning for some 35 PV projects ranging from 10KW up to 3MW, and have recently had a 500kW turbine approved on a 75m mast – the highest single turbine we believe in the UK. We are working on a range of AD projects from smaller farm based systems of 250kW to larger food waste plants in excess of 2MW from Lincolnshire across to Liverpool
